Took me about three minutes and thirty potions. He never hit the statues, maybe because I kept him near the entrance. If he pulls out the life leech while you're close to him run away outside where he can't reach you to drink two potions. Once you're comfortable with the pattern, go to the shrines and finish him off. Right after the life leech, rush in and hit him while drinking potions for as long as he does the hard hitting, poison, lightning or energy attacks. With that in mind, run circles around him or zig-zag in front of him far enough away so that his magical attacks don't hurt you. You should be able to withstand The hard hitting, the poison and the lightning while drinking potions at least long enough to hit him 6-7 times. The meteors which are easy to see with the shadows on the ground. There are two attacks that you really want to avoid. Didn't add any charms to the weapon and my resistances are all 5%
One of the cyclops dropped a slow mace with 80-102 damage and some cold damage (didn't notice if it actually slowed him down).
Up until this point a very fast weapon with life leech allowed me to just stand there and hack away at bosses or groups of 10 monsters at a time but that weapon was bringing Typhon's health down way too slow because you get get to hit him for very long. An hour and about two hundred potions got me nowhere so I decided to change my strategy completely and found out that he's actually rather easy. Just beat him myself with a melee character.
